Bajuelo's collection of works reflects his immigrant experience, capturing the emotional complexity of leaving behind one world for another in a multicultural landscape like the United States. Inspired by abstract expressionism, Bajuelo layers paint to convey the chaotic beauty of life and the search for freedom, with each brushstroke expressing raw emotion. Through vibrant colors and rich textures, his painting becomes a visual exploration of existence and the beauty found within chaos. Named after significant songs, each work bridges past and present, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the artist's journey.

J.C. Bajuelo was born in Cuba. He is currently living and working in Louisville, Kentucky.
